"Whoever said that diamonds are a girl's best friend, never owned a dog." Hi, my name is Yasmine. I am a 27-year-old woman; I am from Brazil. I have been in Canada for 1 year and 9 months. I love this country. I am currently a student at BCIT, where I am pursuing my certificate in Sustainable Energy Management. I decided to pursue a career where I can promote the prosperity of animals and environments the most. I live in east Vancouver neighborhood. Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. In my home in Brazil, I have 7 lovely dogs. They are actually one family. A mother, a father and 2 sons and 2 daughters. Also, I have a cute poodle black. The 2 sons and 2 daughters were born in my house, and the other 3 dogs came to my house very young. Currently, all of them are around 12-15 years old. Due it I got a big experience with dogs with any age and any actives as walking, feeding, care and go to the veterinarian and give some medicine. In my first months In Canada I realized how I miss the everyday routine with dogs that I used to have with my dogs in my country. I couldn't imagine my life without dogs once they bring so much joy and happiness to my life; so I decide to become pet sitter once I really enjoy/love this job. For me, there is no better therapy than arriving home after a stressful day and seeing their little faces to put a smile on my face. I've had dogs all my life, mostly medium to large dogs. I love all of their personalities and quirks. I love spending time with them. Talk with them and return the affection they so selflessly give to us humans. I am a grounded individual who will always put the comfort and well-being of your animal above everything else and treat them as my own. I'm an active/fit girl and have no problem going for walks and play any kind of game that your dog likes. I have wonderful attention to detail. I will always pay attention to differences in mood or behavior while your dog is with me to check if he/she is fine. I always make sure that the regular feeding schedule is upheld and that your dog will constantly have clean water. I love pets, I am reliable, honest and hard working. I recognize that caring for the family dog is a privilege that comes with great responsibility and I will continually strive to offer an experience that promotes the dog well-being and family happiness.
