My dedication to the field of education, specifically in the Animal Care sector, as a nutritional consultant and advocate of veterinary care and husbandry, as well as interests in the study of the natural sciences have helped me continue to pursue a career in these fields; especially one coupled with biological sciences, animal husbandry and natural science. I have many years’ experience in these fields, and as an educator of 10 years, business owner and former veterinary technician, and the continued desire to work in a field which incorporates the Sciences as well as hands-on inquiry based learning where team and individual efforts are recognized for the care of our companion animals. As a professional, I have shared my expertise in collaboration with others for the improvement of all. My sense of integrity and dedication to care and professional development for using skills geared towards today's STEM Model of Education in the Sciences has led me to teach, care for and serve others and their companion animals. There have been many professionals in these fields who have inspired me to share this passion, and as a result of their support, I have successfully coordinated Science and Veterinary medicine modes of education, both as a teacher and in the care of animals in order to implement the latest behavior modifications and care of family pets. By believing it is important to share both my enthusiasm and love of animals needed in these fields, I have helped many pet owners use these skills of compassion and care to further their own advancement in caring for their pets.
