Pet Sitter in New York, New York

I'm an
Individual
And I am just one of them. I didn't use to be a Dog Lover but somehow dogs just kept coming into my life. It was a week after nine eleven. I was uptown walking along the Hudson River Drive. Someone pointed out a stray puppy: weak, and sick, and scared. Pretty soon a little crowd formed around him. All of us were trying to convince the other to take him home. I ran up the hill and bought some dog food. Someone tried to feed him but we wasn't interested. And it wasn't until a little poodlie dog came along that he ventured out of the shadows. My phone rang and I turned to answer. When I turned back it was just me and him. Everyone else had vanished. I encouraged him to follow a jogger. It almost worked and then he cut right and headed into the street. And that was it. I couldn't take it. I have been a dog lover and protector ever since. I walk one and half dogs at the moment, besides my own, a Great Dane and her kid sister a tiny Pomeranian. I am looking for one more lucky dog to round out the schedule. The advantage of hiring an independent walker is that the same person comes everyday. They come to really know and genuinely care about your pet and vicariously you too. When you employ an independent dog walker you got one more person in the city that really has your back. You can make any kind service arrangement with them. "Can you do dishes and empty the trash when you come? Do you think you could hang these shelves for me, drop off the dry cleaning? etc. etc." Chances are they are available for boarding, reading up on your dogs breed at night and giving you a heads up when you are about to run out of dog food, if not ordering it for you. Don't be surprised if they have master”s degrees or are swinging a paint brush, pen or guitar at night. Or they are older people that really have the patience and the love to give your dog that sometimes you are flying too fast in the city life to have time for. Independent dog walkers work harder and pay more attention. They have to, to compete with all the puppy warehouses in the city. Hire an independent dog walker they are a part of the fabric and the color of the city and their personal touch will make all the difference in you and your best friends life.
