Pet Sitter in Pickens, South Carolina

Hi! My name is Brooke. I currently live in Pickens, and have always had a soft spot for animals of all shapes, sizes, and pedigree. I was a park ranger for about 10 years which expanded my experience and skills working with non-domesticated, exotic, and rescue pets. I am well educated having a masters degree in education, and have been a pet owner my entire life. I've been "mom" to dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, bunnies, fish, and snakes (ask me sometime about how I potty-trained Selu the corn snake!) I recently lost my best friend and only child...my dog...Bubba to congestive heart failure after spending 19 wonderful years together. I tend to be the girl who can't in good conscience drive by a stray animal on the street without stopping to try and find its owner, feed it, take it to safety, get medical treatment, and just love it until a rescue solution is found. I currently have a void in my life that Bubba used to fill, but can't bring myself to commit to another pet just yet. So, I figure the next best thing would be to get my daily dose of pet loving by helping out other pet owners. That being said, I would consider it an honor, and soup for my soul, to meet your pet(s) and help out any way possible. I will be glad to pet-sit daily while you're at work, or longer/overnights if you're on vacation. I can feed, play with, bathe, administer medications, or do whatever 'thing' your pet requires. I will also be glad to provide dog walking services, transportation to appointments, park excursions, etc. Feel free to ask if you have a special need/request or would like services for a more untraditional pet.
