Pet Sitter Job in Bennington, Vermont

Hello. We have a ten-year-old male beagle that I adopted from the Second Chance Animal Shelter in January. His previous owner had lost her home, and having recently said goodbye to a beloved senior dog I decided to take him home. He's very sweet, affectionate and good-spirited (and quite handsome) but a bit nervous, understandably given the abrupt changes he's been through. He was originally named Snoopy but we call him "Tsotsi", which is South African slang for gangster/street thug, which he is so not. My husband and I work at home, so he's used to a lot of companionship--and he'll happily accompany his human one errands and wait patiently in the car for long periods of time. We've put in an invisible fence (still in the training stage) so he's got a lot of roaming room. This could be an ongoing occasional gig if it works out. We're going away for 10 days in April and have at least a brief trip in May. I have a book coming out late July and I'm anticipating a lot of travel associated with that. Finding a reliable dog-sitter means a lot to us right now!
