Pet Sitter Job in Ouray, Colorado

We have three dogs: two 9-year-old heeler/shepherd mixes and one 15-year-old doberman mix. We are looking for care in our home in the evenings for about 2 hours once a week. Very occasionally, we need care during the day. One of our 9-year-olds (Marley) has had seizures, and we don't like to leave her unattended. The second 9-year-old (Gertie) is in perfect health. The 15-year-old requires little care (he mostly sleeps), just lots of a love and bit of a boost up onto the couch. The ideal sitter is comfortable with senior dogs who need extra love and patience. This would be an ongoing arrangement. In most cases, we will have walked and fed our dogs prior to your arrival. We need someone who likes to sit and read, listen to music, or just relax with our dogs while we are out. In some cases, we will need you to give Marley her medicine (one pill and one liquid) and to give Dobie his medicine (one pill). Both dogs take their medicine easily with peanut butter. Gertie doesn't get medicine, but we give her a bit of peanut butter, too! We'd love to have a consistent sitter who gets to know our dogs. We think you'll love them as much as we do.
