I love to snuggle and play with all doggos. I love me some furbabies. I am definitely crazy about all things Dog! Especially poodle. I am a pet mom, and have been all of my life. I grew up on a farm so I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by pets and non pet critters I am also a devoted foster mom. I love my oodles of poodles and love all my fosters and boarders as if they are my own. My fosters become part of our family and will forever be a Mehaffey pack memeber. Each set of paws that comes through the door leaves their own special memories and imprints on my heart. Being able to foster has been one of the biggest and most rewarding blessings for me. I can’t imagine life without it now. It has help me in so many ways and reminded me don’t sweat the small stuff and there are so many wonderful genuinely kind people all around us! It makes my heart full and my smile continuous. When a new guest comes to my home, I make sure to give everyone time to adjust and have their own one on one time. Everyone gets their own solo snuggles from me to feel extra special. I am flexible with crates or sleeping with me. House trained pets may get on furniture and sleep with me. Untrained will not be allowed on furniture or in the bed. No one likes those items to have potty messes. I am an experienced foster & pet Mom for medical, hospice, critical care pets, severe injury, seniors, and puppies. I’m very experienced in giving meds of various types, working with food allergies, special needs, and behavior needs. My pets are used to new guests and love visitors. They are know as the fluff army to everyone. Or my oodles of poodles. They are a fantastic welcoming committee eager to snuggle, play, and make them feel at home. I always allow time/space to adjust since they are staying at a new home. My pets allow the same. Once adjusted if they would like, they will play/snuggle together. I’m attentive and very intuitive to needs and any issues or changes. I will help with training. And no fear, I love taking pics of furbabies so I will send you cute updates and photos. I’m flexible on stay length for boarding. Open to weeknights and weekends unless my calendar is booked. I do work full time so during the work day I am gone, but we have a pretty lengthy morning play time and evenings are all about the dogs! I enjoy repeat boarders. We do everything together as family. Experience with first aid, CPR, medical needs, dispensing medications. I have a tremendous experienced pet loving network close if needed. I can assist on product recommendations or vet references if needed. There’s never a dumb question! Ask away!
