Pet Sitter in Santa Monica, California

I am Mike Liparulo, a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and lifelong dog lover. Although I've worked in various places in different professions, I have always taken care of dogs. Before moving to Los Angeles to attend college, I walked and cared for my neighbor's Collie, named Paris, throughout middle and high school. Growing up, my best friend was a Poodle, named Petey, who I helped take care of as well. I have been surrounded by loving dogs my entire life! Currently, I have two dogs: a rambunctious four-year-old Jack Russell Terrier-Chihuahua mix, named Skipit (A.K.A Skips), and a nine-year-old Bichon Frise, named Missy. Although Missy lives on the east coast, along with the rest of my family, I feed, walk, play with, and care for Skipit everyday. Likewise, I also have a part time job working as a dog caretaker for a local family, where I tend to their Australian Shepard, named Kimba. I’ve maintained a great relationship with the family, as I manage, groom, and give Kimba the exercise he need. When Kimba’s family goes out of town, they always count on me to supervise and keep him company. In addition to my pet care duties, I also have worked in the mailroom at CBS. At CBS, I personally sorted and delivered vital pieces of mail and packages to prominent employees, working on time-specific projects. My other work experiences include having worked as Games Attendant at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, where I tended to hundreds of customers a day, promoted and sold merchandising products, and assisted customers with any needs or concerns that they might have had. With all of these positions, I have learned a great deal about customer service and dealing with a variety of people and situations. This, I feel, is important for being a pet caretaker when dealing with different clients who have specific types of pets and needs.
