I'm Mike and I'd love to host your dog next time you go out of town! About Me YOU: -Want to make sure your pet does not feel lonely while you are away. -Want to ensure that he/she receives the creature comforts of home. -Want to make sure that he/she receives the same food and exercise that they receive at home. -DON'T want your pet locked in a cage all day. -DON'T want your pet to have no human interaction. We are two males aged 28-30 living in Cayuga, ON. Currently our family consists our dog Molly and our three cats (Bagheera, Penny and Titan), but we have managed the care of various animals over the years. We are both huge animal lovers, and have a ton of experience dealing with a variety of animals. Between the two of us, our animal experience includes:-4 dogs (Bouvier/retriever mix- 10 years old, Bouvier- 4 years old, Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie Mix- 12 years old)-8 cats (three are currently living with us)-1 gerbil-4 budgies- Various fish In addition, we have also maintained the hobby farm of a friend which includes chickens, goats, cats, rabbits, a pig, and horses. We have also cared for various other dogs/fish/reptiles/cats as well. We live in rural Cayuga on about an acre of land. It is unfenced, if that is of concern. We both work full-time, but work varying shifts, so your pet would not be alone for long. However, crate training is required for the times we are not home. Your dog would receive minimum 2 walks per day, and lots of play time. We are fairly sedentary individuals, and return home right after work, so your pet will receive lots of play/cuddle time! We know that animals are like people, and have certain needs. We are willing to accommodate special requests on an individual basis, just ask! We do require a "meet and greet" before your stay so that we can ensure we are the right fit for you! We look forward to ensuring that your pet does not feel alone while you are away and making sure he/she enjoys the creature comforts of home!
