I have a passion for animals that started from a very young age. I always wanted to be a vet. I was devastated the first time I witnessed an animals death and wanted nothing but the best for every animal. Life is short and it needs to be fully lived in every moment. I recently became a founder and volunteer of Karma Animal Trust based out of Rishikesh, Inida. We do rescue work as well as sterlization projects (ABC~Animal Birth Control). My volunteer time is my way of giving back to the animal world. My passion for them is what brings out the best in me. I've worked with various types of dogs; military dogs at the base in San Antonio, a rescue shelter as a kennel manager (Animal Defense League of San Antonio), a dog handler for a dog sledding company in Alaska (AIE) and as a rescue volunteer in Rishikesh. It is clear to me that I should devote myself to such work, and would love nothing more than to provide a happy life full of love and adventure for any and all dogs that I can. I realize just how fragile life can be and take full responsibility for every moment I am with a canine. I graduated from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina with a degree in medicine and would love to advance my education in veterinary medicine.
