To start off, my name is Brittany! I am 24 years old and originally from Tennessee. I moved here a couple years ago and seem to have plenty of extra time on my hands. I would love nothing more then to spend that time with a furry companion. I do have experience with caring for dogs as well as other animals; kittens/cats, puppies/dogs, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters and more. To start off, was born into a animal friendly home where I grew to have a strong love and bond with all animals. From a young age I already knew how to approach and care for them which I felt was an amazing gift. Furthermore, I love going on walks and it makes it all the more better when I get to have a dog by my side. I enjoy training dogs and obedience training taught me just as much as the dogs. For one, you can teach an old dog new tricks.Patience is a virtue as they say! It’s all worth it and seeing the results is rewarding on is own. For these reasons, I believe I have the experience to care for your pets; my Aunt as well as my mother have been dog sitting, boarding and walking for many years, I volunteer at a local animal shelter in my spare time, and I have read countless books and articles on my own time. By doing this, it has taught me many useful tactics for caring and assessing different individual animals needs. I have been trained next to a professional to care for animals with health related problems. I can provide any pet that may need medication and the extra attention and love. In short, by volunteering at a no shelter and rescuing animals - it's not only a rewarding experience but offers much to learn and room to grow. I have wonderful people I can call, who have a veterinarian education, that will always answer. Lastly, I am almost always available even if its on short notice. My very part time job takes up a few days, on the first week of each month.. I am willing to meet beforehand free of charge!
