Hello, my name is Teya and I run a small-group doggie daycare and also provide in-home boarding. I have been working with animals my entire life, and while many years of my life have been devoted to dog care and training, I have also worked at zoos, animal conservation programs, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation (and in fact still work as a wildlife rescue/rehabilitation volunteer). I'm very experienced with domestic pets as well as exotic pets and livestock and have cared for many varieties of species, including birds of all types, reptiles, fish, rabbits, monkeys, lemurs, marsupials - you name it. My husband is a well-respected veterinarian and I have plenty of experience assisting him during his house-calls as well as caring for ill or injured pets that come to stay with us in emergency situations. We have a large, comfortable home with plenty of room to entertain visiting pet-guests, and a very large (acre) daycare area for the fur-kids, complete with climbing forts, wading and swimming pools, indoor/outdoor play areas, 'zip-line' tug-rope station and ball-pit. Our play-care is limited to small groups, so it's perfect for those pups that get easily-overwhelmed by large packs of dogs, and the pups that board with us get plenty of fun and exercise!
