Hi, my name's Dana and I like to consider myself a pet's best friend, and that's just all part of being a pet sitter. Animal's deserve to be treated with kindness and should be treated like one of the family; Animals are more than just living things, they are members of your family - and they deserve the best care that can be provided. I can provide that care with a price that you can afford. I have experience with dogs and cats as well as small mammals such as hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. Animals for me are a sense of both, Therapy, and Relaxation as well as an opportunity to take responsibility. Being around animals allows me to be myself without the fear of judgment, and gives me the confidence and motivation to put forth the responsibilities it takes to care for a pet. I have provided pet sitting in the past for family members and friends, and all have been pleased with my services. I will pamper your pet with cuddles, play time and pets as well as taking your beloved pal for walks and be sure that they are well fed and have their water dish topped up. If it's a feline I'm caring for then they will receive playtime with cat toys, head scratches and more. Leave your worries behind on nights you have to work late or just want to go on a date with some friends or a special someone by leaving them in my care. They are in good hands. My pet sitting rates are affordable and reasonable. Please ensure that your pet is up-to-date on all their vaccines and have done basic training. Pets who are aggressive will not be on my "OK" list of pets to pet sit and would appreciate it if you can ensure that your pets are good with strangers, show no aggression towards individuals/food/territory, and that you have a list of your pets schedule that they are accustomed to so that I can provide the ultimate care experience for both you and your pets. Currently I own a kitten named Dasher who will be turning 1 yrs old on November 18, 2014 and a dog named Dexter. Dexter is an English Springer Spaniel; he is very lovable and energetic and I love him with all of my heart. I am comfortable with a majority of dog breeds however I do request and require that all pets are fully vaccinated and friendly, I will not be caring for animals who are aggressive and not up-to-date on their vaccinations due to it being a hazard to my health & safety. I apologize if this is an inconvenience for any of you; I have been attacked by a dog (a Sheppard Lab Mastiff mix) around the ear 2008/200... when I first moved to Newmarket. It is because of this that I am highly cautious, so I hope that you will understand my concerns. If given the opportunity to pet sit I will ensure that your pets are fed and well-exercised. If you have a puppy and need help with training, I would be happy to help train them during my pet sitting. A happy pet, is a healthy pet. I am comfortable with caring for: Dogs (Husky, English Springer Spaniels, German Short-Haired Pointers, Golden Retrievers and Poodles.
