Michele has taken care of our dogs in our home while we were away and we have come home to very happy well adjusted animals. Her background in vet care proved very helpful with the specific needs of our older dog. She was also able to suggest some wholistic options for us in helping him feel better. Michele has been a lifesaver to our family. She has been working with our 2 rescue dogs for about 3 months and we honestly started seeing a difference in the first week!! We’ve been through dog training before, but never experienced having a trainer in our home on a consistent basis. She is reliable, trustworthy, and always pleasant. She responds quickly and always sends a follow-up summary of the visit when she is done. She not only gets them outside for the much needed potty break, but she introduces and reinforces the training. We follow up with “homework” and keep reinforcing the lessons, but AFTER she has provided the training to us as well. She is wonderful and patient with the entire family, especially the kids. She creates such a calm environment for dogs and promotes safety on so many levels (some I had never even considered). We are so lucky to have found her and our home is on its way to becoming a calm, pleasant environment, not the crazy madhouse we’ve grown accustomed too. Both rescue dogs were messing in the house, ripping up garbage, pulling on leashes on walks, jumping, barking, basically had the worst manners. I had thought my last resort was building an outdoor kennel and evicting them while we were gone during the day. Their bad manners had become so routine that I didn’t even notice the jumping and barking anymore, nor the safety issues they presented being lose in the house. Everyone who visits notices how much calmer the dogs are immediately! We recommend Michele for all kinds of animals (she loves when she gets a visit from our kitty too) whether you need just to give them a potty break, walks, or to have her provide any kind of training. It is such a joy to be around our dogs again!
