Pet-sitter/dog walker with eighteen years of experience working with animals available for hire seven days a week. Past credentials include: a kennel technician at Mandarin Animal Hospital for three years, a kennel worker at Julington Creek Animal Hospital, years and years’ worth of pet-sitting, house-sitting, and dog-walking for family, friends, neighbors, friends of family, friends of friends, friends of neighbors etc. I began my love of caring for animals in pre-school, when I began bringing home stray dogs and cats, bunnies, hamsters, gerbils, goldfish, mice, frogs, lizards, turtles, tortoises, spiders and the occasional snake. My older brother, who is now currently the veterinarian/owner of Mandarin Animal Hospital, taught me a lot about the creatures I found so exciting and fascinating. My job duties as pet-sitter will include long walks, lots of cuddling and playtime, feeding and giving fresh water, administering medications if applicable, cleaning litter boxes, crates, and yards, bathtime, and even small household duties for when you have to be away from your home (and only if specified by the client). I have been caring for animals since the age of 10, when I was given my beloved bassett hound Flash. I went on to work as a kennel technician for 3 years at Mandarin Animal Hospital, where my duties included walking, bathing, feeding, giving meds, cuddling and playtime with cats and dogs, and cleaning cages and runs and the yard. I have owned a number of rescue cats and dogs over the past decade-and-a-half, and have rehomed roughly 30 stray pets. Right now I have 3 beautiful rescue cats (Trigger, 14; Lulu, 5; and Hobbes, 7 months) as well as a rescue Chow-mix dog named Landon. My babies are my pride and joy. Luckily, my brother James Mosley, DVM is the veterinarian and owner of Mandarin Animal Hospital so with his help I can keep saving helpless pets!
