I have always had dogs throughout my life. From puppies to seniors and lazy to active. I have been a sitter for dogs who need a little extra exercise and those who have special dietary needs. I have experience administering medications and dealing with senior dogs with mobility and bladder control issues. I enjoy jogging, so if your dog is up for it I'll turn our walk into a nice little jaunt.
I am also an experienced cat sitter, which has consisted of stopping by for daily feedings and scooping litter boxes, and on occasion staying with the cats for a hour or so at a time to socialize. I have had cats my entire life, so I am well versed in their care and personalities from kittens to seniors. I have had to administer many forms of medications as I've had cats with medical issues and special dietary needs. I have experience with basic grooming like brushing, nail clipping, teeth brushing and the occasional unpretty shave job to take care of matting in fur. I first volunteered in the cat room at Safe Haven while I was in high-school and am currently a foster for mom's and kittens.
