Hi 👋🏼, my name is Ann, I have lived in Lyndhurst for over twenty years. I am interested in doing some dog walking as well as dog sitting. I prefer small to medium dogs. I have had Ten FURBABY of my own over the last (approx.) 40 years. Mostly Shi-Zue’s as well as a Yorkie. I currently do take care of a golden doodle for a friend when they go on vacation every year, I also took care of other neighbors dogs whenever they needed. Some for two hours others for three weeks. I can provide references if needed. I prefer dogs that don’t shed much but will consider those that don’t shed to much. I love dogs & love going for walks with them. Usually two short ones and a long one. I have a fenced in yard and a fairly good size house. If your FURBABY is trained they can even sleep in the bed with me. I can & would handle SOME special needs but we would have to discuss what the needs are. Honesty is of most importance to me when talking about your baby’s habits, meals, treats, bathing etc. so if your interested & need someone who will love & care for your FURBABY like you do then give me a call. Thank You, Ann

Factors that impact pet sitting cost

Planning a trip as a pet owner? Hiring a pet sitter is an excellent solution for care for your furry friend. Before you hire a pet sitter, it's important to understand the factors that affect the cost of their services:

  • Time and Duration - Pet sitters usually charge either a daily or hourly rate. The length of time you require care for will affect your final costs. Many pet sitters will also offer package deals and discounts for longer bookings.
  • Your pet’s needs - Consider the frequency of your dog's walks, or your cat's feeding schedule. Different services will have different prices. Some pet sitters also offer extra services like administering medication, grooming, or even behavioral training, which may increase the cost.
  • Location - The cost of pet care will range across the country city-by-city depending on the cost of living in your city area.
  • Years of Experience - The level of experience of the pet sitter will also have a factor on pricing. More experienced sitters, with professional backgrounds in behavioural or medical training may charge a higher rate, than a less specialized sitter.
