I'm a local proud mom of five children which includes two fur babies, ok six children if I count my husband, lol an animal lover and a pet mom of 20 years with a strong maternal instinct who believes the bond between our pets and our children are no different. I have raised my children with the same love, empathy and compassion for all animals which I believe makes them better humans, and proud to say they are exceptional little humans. I LOVE being in the company of all fur babies and know how much joy, companionship, affection and unconditional love they bring us. Unfortunately, though, I can’t adopt all the animals in need, so this way I get to have an extended family of fur babies to give the same unconditional love they give us and deserve and provide them with the same level of care you would give if you were home, exactly how I treat my own, like a family member. Our fur babies are innocent, defenseless and dependent on us, and because of this we feel the need to protect and treat them like children which is why we do everything we can to ensure their safety, well-being and happiness.👨‍👩‍👧‍👧🐶🐱 I’ve raised and trained puppies/kittens to their senior years, small and large breeds, cared for pets on a strict schedule of medications with different health issues from minor to serious illnesses, and special needs. I know when they need a trip to the vet when they are just not themselves, having had many stressful trips to the emergency vet over the years, and unfortunately too many times having to make the dreaded decision to say goodbye. They always remain in our hearts. ❤️ I know when they are not feeling well, sad, stressed, anxiety ridden, scared, skittish and need that extra TLC (comforted, petted/belly rubs and of course treats) to be given their space to come to you when they're ready, when they have pent up energy and need exercise and want to just play or need to go potty. I know when to keep an eye on them to keep them safe or give them free rein so they don’t take off or get lost. I know what foods are good for them or dangerous and what is safe to leave out of their reach or not. I understand them and can read their cues of what they need and when based on their behaviour, body language, personality and temperament.🐶🐾🐱 Being a pet mom and pet sitter, I understand how it is hiring someone who doesn’t provide the same level of care as you and not trusting to leave them with anyone again.
