Pet Sitter in Northfield, Vermont

I grew up on a small horse farm in rural Vermont and have been around all types of animals. Living on a farm I learned from a very young age the importance of caring for our four legged family members big or small. I have personally cared for all of the following: Horses, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, fish, birds, cats and dogs (not sure if I forgot any) Growing up on a farm I have dealt with many sick (but mostly healthy animals) and I am comfortable with administering medications if needed. My home located off the main road on a quiet wrap around street (our family owns most of the street) we have 2 dog tie outs along with a dog pen and a large yard. We have dog beds in every room, plenty of toys and treats. We have 2 older children who are 15 and 12. We have 1 dog now who is a love. We have had Rambo our soon to be 8 year old dog for all but the 1st 6 months of his life. He has pretty good manners...minus the jumping when he's excited (I was hoping that would go away as he go older) A typical day is coffee for me, breakfast for the dog, followed by going outside. I do work most of the day but my husband works from home and pops in a few times throughout the day. Our evening are filled with playtime, dinner for all, a long walks (during the summer) and snuggles in the couch. During the winter we will try and play outside long as the temps are not too low. Our house is all hardwood floors and I am comfortable with caring for young to old pups. I like the animals to feel they can get away if needed and have their own space, just like us; so we have plenty of dog beds for them to choose from.
