I am a long time dog owner with extensive sitting experience for all breeds and sizes. My family and I would love the opportunity to make your dog feel at home while your away. We currently own 2 friendly and playful dogs, a Newfoundland and a german shepherd. I have owned previously; a beagle, a lab, another german shepherd and a mixed breed, whom i owned until old age. I am a volunteer dog walker and helper at Buddy dog humane society which has given me ample experience in dealing with puppies, seniors and difficult dogs as well. I am also certified in First Aid and CPR for pets. Our dogs are a very important part of our family and we show that daily by truly making them a part of the majority of our activities, everything from hiking, swimming, camping, beach days, you name it and our buddies are there right alongside of us. I am willing to watch dogs for overnight stays, day care or other options as requested. I can also pick up and drop off or perform drop in visit or walking within a 15 minute radius of Northboro. When your dogs stays with us, we guarantee to provide plenty of time for playtime and dog socialization. We have a large, fenced yard, a dog dedicated area indoors and allow free roam of the household if the visitor is accustomed to do so. We allow our dogs to sleep in our bedroom and our guests are welcome to as well unless they prefer their own space, crate, etc. We have a dedicated space for dogs who prefer a certain amount of non-dog interaction time. We have a large in house crate that is sanitized between uses so no need to lug yours over for the stay (if needed and ONLY if a dog already uses a crate at home). At this time temporary construction fencing is installed while we await our vinyl fencing but its very secure and keeps my 150lb newf in no issues (its coming soon!) I am available for cat and exotic animal drop in visits only but unavailable for boarding. I have owned reptiles, birds, ferrets, and rabbits. Have you ever had to give a ferret medication? Its certainly an interesting task, lol!
