Pet Owner in Woodstock

We have two sweet dogs that need care. A 4 year old Golden Retriever and a 2 year old Chocolate Lab. We live in a new subdivision on the outskirts of Woodstock and prefer them to be walked near home just the two of them. No "pack" walks. They are friendly and good with other dogs but we don't want them to spend their time in a car picking up other dogs. Our Retriever is also not a fan of car rides and cries throughout a trip. They love people but have had very little exposure to children, since our own children are grown and have moved out. They are very well behaved with one embarrassing exception. They bark like crazy when someone comes to the door. It's not aggressive or territorial. It's excitement that someone is there to see them. They do it to us, every time. We have many wonderful trails very close to our house and can easily access them from our neighbourhood. No need to drive. They enjoy off leash walks and have great recall but the Lab does have trouble avoiding water. If there is a pond, stream or puddle that dog will find it and prance around in it gleefully. She's willing to take the scolding because the reward of playing in water is so great. And, the Retriever will go along with whatever the Lab decides is a good idea. Our house is a new build and we designed the mud room with the dogs in mind. We have a dog shower. Yep, a dog shower. Because we hike so frequently and they get muddy often we decided to address the problem of tracking of mud throughout the house. They actually enjoy the shower. It's ground level, so no stepping up and in. They gladly go in and often try to go in at the same time, both wanting to go first. They even raise their paws to be rinsed off. It's adorable. And, it saves us a lot of hassle. We're looking for someone to walk them for about an hour. If they get dirty, you will want to cut that down to 45 minutes so they can be cleaned up. They have free range in the house and we don't want to discover a muddy dog lying on a bed. So, clean up is important. We're looking for them to be walked 2 or 3 days a week around 11am, if possible. I work the night shift and will be sleeping when the dog walker arrives. The dogs have slept all night and are happy to sleep with me some more but come 10-11, they want to get moving. They're young, healthy and full of energy. I think it's unreasonable to expect them to be quiet and sleep all day with me. Plus, the Lab starts dropping toys on me around 11am. Hoping one with catch my fancy and I'll play. The Retriever does this whiney, moan thing trying to get me out of bed. They want my attention and I just can't give it to them. If your schedule has an opening 2-3 days a week around 11am, we would love to meet you and discuss the details.
