Hi! I'm Nikki, a 26y/o who loves animals, walking, and hiking trails! I'm a natural born caretaker (I like to call it the "youngest child syndrome 😏) and I'm excited to meet you and your animals! A little more about me and my work experience: I've grown up with & cared for animals all my life. I've had 4 dogs so far from pups till elderly. For 10 years I have experience dog/house sitting & can provide references if needed. Most of my dog sitting was with xlarge breeds like wolf mixes, but my own have been xsmall-medium size. I've also cared for fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, & bunnies! I'm a flexible person who loves animals of all kinds. I believe they can teach us a lot about ourselves and who we are, all while we teach them the things we can! On a few occasions I've taken care of 2 horses for a family member. The care was basic feeding, watering, & ground work. She taught me about ground work and using energy to direct a horse for the 2yrs she was here, but I am not a professional horse minder. My pomchi, Cooper, has the bravado of a lion! Raising him taught me a LOT about respecting the space & noise level of sensitive, tiny dogs! They're so small, so they're defensive and always on the lookout when underfoot so they don't get stomped on! I truely believe that every animal has something to teach us about humanity.
