About: Hello! My name is Ayah (eye-yuh) and I am in my last year of undergrad. I am studying human biology in order to go on to be a pediatric nurse practitioner with a dermatology focus. Although I do have a passion for skincare, I also absolutely adore animals and find pleasure in working closely with them. I've grown up with all sorts of animals, from chickens to rabbits, to cats and dogs, and lizards too! I want to pet sit because I have an enthusiasm for animals, am organizationally inclined, and find a certain peace in working with the routine that comes with pet sitting. I am very experienced in sitting and, as a result, can properly take care of and maintain any animals needs. Additionally, I pay close attention to detail and am highly communicative ensuring that whatever curveball gets thrown, you will be in the know and it will get handled swiftly and smoothly. An added bonus is that I get to make plenty of furry friends along the way! *note: I am based in Oakland but I am flexible and free to travel to you Experience: I have extensive experience caring for pets as I've been around animals my entire life. As a result, am quite comfortable with a wide variety of animals and animals are very comfortable with me as well. Currently, I have two dogs, one who is a special needs (deaf and partially blind, and canine dysfunctional behavior disorder) mutt and the other who is staffy german shepherd mix, and two cats, an 11-year-old and a 1-year-old. As you can probably imagine, I am well versed in taking care of various different needs depending on the animal (from simple things such as different types of play to administering medication). Additionally, I pay close attention to detail especially when it comes to animal care/maintenance. I've always left animals in the utmost happy and healthy state when owners return.
