Hello! My name is Chrissie Mack. I'm searching for a dog trainer, pet sitter work opportunity in the Richmond/Mechanicsville/Glen Allen, Virginia area. I have many years experience working in the Animal Care field and will provide loving families peace of mind, knowing that their "babies" are in caring, qualified hands. I was a Veterinary Technician and Dog Trainer for many years and I still put these skills to use quite a bit working with rescues. I have worked with reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians, small animals, wildlife etc. I I have extensive experience caring for just about any animal you can think of. I am well versed in all aspects of animal care, including tending to their medical, social, environmental needs. Nothing "grosses me out" so I have no problem cleaning up messes, cleaning cages or picking up after your pet. Have a "special needs" pet that requires extra medical care or attention? No problem! This is right up my alley. I have been blessed with the ability to "read" and connect with animals in a deep way and gain their trust rather quickly. By calmly establishing myself as the "alpha" I bring a sense of structure to the "pack" that our furry/feathery/scaly friends need in order to thrive in their environments. I am especially skilled at caring for animals with various behavioral issues and making their time with me a stress free, enjoyable experience.
