Pet Sitter in San Francisco, California

Hello Pet Parents, I'm Laura, and I have been pet-sitting professionally all around the Bay Area from San Carlos to Sausalito, for a few years now. Thus far I have taken care of about 70 individual pets, including cats, dogs, chickens, hamsters, fish, a parrot and a pig. I had my own cats for 25 consecutive years; my senior felines lived to be 18 and 21, so I must have been doing something right -- and I have a particular empathy for older animals. I often take care of a cat in San Francisco whose pet parent says "Laura is the best! I'm so happy to have someone so great willing to look after my cat. She is responsible, communicative and a true animal lover. Couldn't recommend her more highly." I have taken care of dogs ranging from Maltese to Mastiff. I've fed, watered, medicated, bathed, walked, played with, cuddled and cleaned up after dogs and cats for years. All has gone well. As I am a writer and work from home, my schedule is flexible so I can give.pets plenty of attention and affection. When I stay with pets, they see a lot of me! I specialize in taking overnight care of pets in their own homes. Regularly I've taken care of a terrier in Rockridge whose pet parent wrote: "Laura stayed with our dog Ollie for 3 weeks and was an absolute delight. She sent frequent updates and photos, removing any anxiety we may have otherwise had being away from our little guy for so long. She's a very special soul, and was able to connect with our little guy, and with our community for that matter. She made great friends with neighbors and neighbor dogs! We've had her back a number of times now, and are thankful to have a caring and reliable friend to call when we need to leave town." Often I take care of a cat and a rambunctious miniature Australian Shepherd in San Carlos whose pet-parent wrote: "Laura watched my dog and cat for 2 weeks and took care of my home. She gave me daily updates with pictures so I never had to worry about my pets. My pets seemed very happy and healthy when I got back. She followed all my instructions and gave my pets extra TLC, even letting them sleep on the bed with her. My home was also neat when we got back.
