Hello my name is Jessica. I have helped co-workers and friends with caring for their animals when on vacation. I grew up with cats and had a german shepherd mix. I recently lost my 15 year old puppy. I got him from the pound. He was very sensitive and I had to be patient with him. In his older years he walked very slow so I would walk slow with him. I would still walk him 5 times a day. I don't have any pets at the moment and will not be able to get another one for quite sometime. I would be so happy to care for your pet and treat them like I would my own. I can help train your dog. I am not certified, but I trained my dog to sit, stay, go to his mat, rollover, give me your paws, rest a treat on his nose and to walk nicely on a leash. My dog was not a fan of people getting into his face. I had to let people know to not get down to his level. He was also nervous around children. So, I let kids know when they asked to pet him that he was afraid of them. I would let them know that he was not a dog that they could pet. He never hurt anyone, but he was a big dog and I know anything could have happened.
