My name is Lilith I study art and animal behavior and I live near downtown Brantford. I love animals of all kinds and am well versed in the care of quite a few common pets. I am very passionate about animal rights and wildlife protection. I want to help as many animals as I can. My career goal is to become a dog trainer or possibly work at a no shelter. I want to walk dogs and pet sit to raise some extra money for school and to get more experience with dogs and other animals. Animals I have a lot of experience with -dogs -cats -rabbits -frogs and toads Animals I have some experience with -Bearded dragons -Snakes -Freshwater fish I am willing to work with almost any animal if you’re willing to work with me. There’s not a whole lot that scares me and I learn fast so even if your pet isn’t on my experience list, I can promise to follow care instructions as closely as possible. I understand how much animals can mean to someone because mine are truly family to me so you can rest assured that your animal family members will be safe with me. ANIMALS I DON’T WORK WITH Anything venomous, illegal pets, spiders and tarantulas, scorpions, constrictors over five feet in length, snakes that have to be fed live rodents (frozen is okay), dogs and cats that have not had their shots unless too young to receive them, wild animals that have not seen a veterinarian, dogs that have been trained to bite (I will work with your dog if they have a bite history but not if you have trained and or rewarded the behavior) THINGS I WILL NOT DO Use shock, choke, pinch and spray collars on any animal, spray a cat with water as a punishment, use any form of physical punishment, lock an animal outside for more than five hours (ask for a few rare exceptions to this), Lock a dog or cat in an undersized crate for more than an hour, deprive an animal of food and water as a punishment, lock a rabbit in a commercial cage unless spotlessly clean (ask for more information about proper rabbit care, seriously you might be shocked I know I was) I am open to all questions and will usually respond within 12 hours. Especially breeds that tend to have a stigma attached to them like pit bulls, German shepherds and Rottweilers. I've dedicated a lot of my free time to self study canine behavior and positive reinforcement training methods and would be able to help with common behavior complaints like leash pulling and jumping at passing pedestrians. I want to help people understand their dogs better and find solutions to problems that can make bonding with their dog difficult.
