Personal Profile: Hi there my name is Carolyn. I'm a huge dog lover that can help with many petcare needs. I also can help with training for you and your pet in your home. My focus is on you understanding your pets needs. I will strengthen and enhance your bond with your pet to provide your pet the life you both deserve. My type of training techniques will help you realize things you or others do create unwanted behavior that could cause more problems later and show you how to correct and change them by understanding your dog needs you to be their security and look to you for guidance and being their decion maker. Without that your are setting your dog up for failure, destructive and bad behavior out of frustration and lack of structure. For example, tell your dog to sit several times when your doing something in the kitchen. But wont or gets up after and comes back because when in the fridge to get something to eat and is looking in the fridge now too. You're thinking my dog came in back of the food but they how to sit, they are just stubborn. Them telling them again to go sit, you get frustrated because they don't listen until 5 times of saying it. Can you imagine the pups frustration? Because they have kinda guessed what you said and repeat the actions but isn't focused on the words just if I do this again, I will get more. for a reward. They did something that made you happy they just not sure what stopped the yelling, opening their favorite reward box and wants to see what they are getting because they pleased you but you think they are just not listening and they were actually guessing what you wanted. Just a sample of things we can fix. I have owned pit bulls and wolf hybrids that have been well behaved, be somehow I got lucky. Now, I see what I did wrong and they weren't bad or didn't listen but I failed them as a owner. It wasn't them acting out to be bad but they did it because I failed them first. The best thing is, they still love us and wouldn't give you away because you didn't do what you should they keep trying. I'm in Norfolk, Virginia. I truly envest myself with the care for your pet and want them to be just as happy as I am to spend time with them as if they are part of my family. I create not only a bond but there is an attachment I have. I worry about them when they are ill and miss them when they go on vacation. I grieve when they go over the Rainbow Bridge and cry because I'm going to miss them. I am also thankful for have the chance to be one of the highlights of their day. I say I'm a sitter but I feel more like their buddy that comes over just for them and give them a big enthusiastic greeting as my buddies give me. I still have pictures and videos of the pets I've cared for to look back and smile at. It's such a rewarding job with awesome perks. I can say I truly love every minute of my job and my clients no matter how many legs they have.
