Hello My name is is Amanda. I am a 32 year old female and live in the Hunt Club/Uplands area. I have two dachshund of my own, one who is six and one who is two. They are my pride and joy. I walk them daily and attend the dog park with them on a regular basis. I know how important exercise is in a dog's life. I have owned dogs my entire life and have experience with small, medium and large dogs. Our little guy, two year old Fenway is a rescue and when we adopted him at ten months he had come from a bad place. We are still working with him as he has major anxiety and becomes nervous around new people and places. Our other dog Tessa has brought him out of his shell and allowed him to become slightly more comfortable in new situations. They are the friendliest and most hilarious pups. They eat on a regular basis and for treats we feed them carrots because again a dog's weight is very important. I am a type 1 diabetic and have been for 20 years. I know there are dogs who have special needs and I am comfortable working with them. Looking forward to hearing from you.
