I'm a 23 year old college student, returning to Algonquin in the Fall for a career in Child and Youth Care. While I spent the first many years of my life and childhood surrounded by dogs, (Dobermans! And 1 special Retriever), I also spent last summer working at one of the kennels located within Kemptville. I am able to recognize dog's body language, behaviour, administer medication orally, provide walks and stimulating play, and I'm more than happy to do it. I don't think anything makes my day more than seeing a handsome little guy or little lady out for a walk with their owner.
