Pet Sitter in Arlington, Virginia

I have two years of animal shelter volunteer experience working with cats and dogs of various sizes and temperaments. This included feeding, walking, cleaning and enrichment. I grew up with three dogs... a lab, toy poodle and chihuahua which meant dog walking and feeding them according to their specific diets. The two smaller dogs were house-trained and used wee-wee pads. Now I have two cats at home. One is 5 and the other is 15. My 15 year-old is a special one -- he's been labeled "attack kitty" at the vet which is his second home since he has asthma, cystitis and kidney disease. It's been a real experience! I'm well-versed in caring for special needs animals, whether it's physical, emotional or both. Animals are my life and I'm proud to work in the animal welfare field along with my volunteer and personal experience with animals.
