Hello, my name is Cherry. I'm an artist and professional. I never thought I'd be a dog owner because of my lifestyle, but that changed over the pandemic when I adopted two neglected dogs who made their way to my house. I never considered myself a dog lover, just someone who loved animals and felt strongly about respecting them, and providing the necessary love and care should one choose to own one. I have done a lot of pet/house sitting over the years, but informally for friends and family. Since I no longer have my dogs, I can take yours along for my walks and runs too. When I had my dogs, I often asked myself if I was giving them the best life possible. They went to the ocean with me everyday, bike rides, road trips, hikes, sat with me while I worked...and they got home cooked meals. But they were not allowed on my bed--they had rules too. In the community where we lived, I was known as the girl with the bike and the dogs. They were leashed only when we went to the city where I would take them for street food, and they were treated to grilled meat. And they would take public transport: tricycles, pedicabs...they even knew how to behave riding on a motorcycle. I have no criminal record and can pass all the backgrounds checks if an organization were to hire me to work with kids or any vulnerable population. Ha! Well, I thought that would be important to know. You'll get someone honest, reliable, mentally stable.
