Who I Am: Nice to meet you! My name is Ashley. I'm looking for animal sitting (included along with detailed house cleaning for additional pay, otherwise basic animal hygiene and kennel cleaning is already included in the pet sitting). I feel comfortable caring for all dog and cat breeds, along with caged mammals like bunnies, hamsters or fish/aquatic animals turtles ect, I can take care of anything but some reptiles like snakes and iguanas seeing as I have limited experience with them. But I am willing to learn more if necessary about all reptiles and all birds. Description of Skills: I am comfortable maintaining pet health, facilitating exercise, and bathing/brushing. I have personal transportation available. With respect to previous qualifications, I have taken care of many animals as a personal pet hospice care taker (sometimes helping them with the dirtier and harder aspects of animal care when they are near the end :( but I am proud of and love my ability to do the harder things for the owners who are already undergoing so much emotional strife when they are faced with the hard realities of a beloved pets frail or worsening conditions.) I do not shy away from helping animals get cleared of flees, washing wounds, cleaning off bodily fluids if unable to make it to their potty spots in time and giving out medications as needed. I have a flexible schedule but I would like a Sunday morning free (until 1pm) so I can make it to church service a few times each month. I am looking for an average of 12-30hrs per week. But if temporary, I can do a longer weekend or week jobs if the families are going on a vacation, I’d just need a few weeks heads up to re-schedule any important appointments I might have scheduled for that time. I am also willing to travel within 30miles for any families out in the nearby rural areas that have a few animals to care for. My rate is 10hr for basic animal care/sitting, there is an additional charge for more animals (extra 1$ per each additional pet)I always add the dog as your first pet, so the rate isn’t higher, otherwise If no dog than the cat should go as the first pet for the 10 rate. If I need to travel out of town (past 10miles) I just add a 10$,20$ or 25$ A week charge for gas. However, If you live in Stevens Point I charge nothing, WI Rapids, Marshfield, Mosinee, Rothschild, Almond, Amherst would be subject to the amount of trips each week. If you have pets near the end or with special needs I do not charge more. All pets are equal in my eyes and deserve to be treated with the same compassion and understanding as other animals in their prime. I do not believe in making an already hard and stressful situation worse for the families that entrust me with their loved ones care, it’s my privilege to be able to work so closely with all the animals despite where they are at on their life journey. I do also provide home making/house cleaning for sitting jobs that don’t require as much constant attention (for a reduced price) or I can provide separate pricing sheet available upon request, just for the house cleaning without sitting responsibilities included. I am also super understanding and wouldn’t be opposed to scheduled pay days each week, every 2 or 3 weeks, or monthly.
