Hi everyone! My name is Margarida. I am a senior college student at UCSC and looking to do cat/pet sitting in the Santa Cruz area. I strive to be an easy-going and adaptable employee. I have 5 cats of my own and love all kinds of furry animals and I am available as required. :) Experience: I have over 10 years of cat fostering experience as well as volunteer experience in a dog & cat shelter at the Boulder Humane Society adoption center in Boulder, CO. In the last ten years, I've fostered over 200 cats and kittens from all areas of life and socialization stages. I have fostered kittens and newborns; pregnant mothers and mothers giving birth; cats with physical/neurological disabilities; elderly cats; rescues and feral cats in need of socialization. I can proudly say every cat I've fostered has always gotten adopted to a forever home and it is very heartwarming to watch rescued and unsocialized cats I've fostered learn to become friendly and sociable with other pets and humans. I did Pets n Pals Training Volunteer program at the Humane Society where I then volunteered for about a year (I primarily walked dogs and cared for cats), afterwards I've spent the last 10 years fostering cats from the Humane Society with my mom who is also an experienced volunteer there. Services: I am experienced in cat/dog feeding (any age), administering medication if needed, cleaning up waste, basic grooming, playing, and other types of socialization rehabilitation animals may need. I have lots of experience caring after cats of all ages (infants - elderly) and socialization types (feral - domestic). I can bottle feed, prepare food and supplements, and administer medication or accommodations as needed. I also have experience in dog walking, feeding, and playing with dogs of almost all sizes and breeds (pitbulls, German shepherds, pugs, chihuahuas, retrievers, etc) I also will have a driver's license as soon as July 17th.
