Pet Sitter in Toronto, Ontario

Hello! My name is Kate; I am a working professional in downtown Toronto. I live with my partner, our two cats, and our 9mo Corgi Rex, and I'd be happy to take care of your pets while you're away. I've done 5 years of work in cat rescue, including as one of the few people in our rescue who fostered and worked to socialize feral/semi-feral cats. I have a lot of experience with cats of all ages (including bottle feeding) and administering daily oral and topical medications. With the addition of Rex to our family, I've also become very familiar with "Corgi Mischief" and the world of puppy/dog care. I'd be happy to take your pup(s) to the park to play, or to explore Toronto's green spaces. I also have experience taking care of other types of pets, including fish, hamsters, and rabbits. I am a highly organized, detail-oriented individual capable of adapting to many situations. I am willing to help visiting pets for company, feeding, walking/poop-scooping, and other pet chores as needed. I have a current Police Record Check, CPR-C and Standard First Aid, and I have a TTC Metropass as well as a car to travel to your place. My favourite thing about working with animals is that caring for them benefits both parties--animals rely on their human parents for food and care, while we rely on our pets for comfort and entertainment. Kate My family has always had cats in threes; we were my grandparents' "dog hotel" when they went away. I have also taken care of fish, hamsters, and rabbits for friends while they were on vacation (up to 2 weeks at a time). I am interested in taking care of other types of pets such as reptiles/amphibians (I like snakes and lizards especially), though these are not pets that I have had pet-sitting experience with.
