Pet Sitter in Gatineau, Quebec

I am a dog groomer and animal enthusiast that just moved to the Gatineau/Ottawa from Vancouver looking to fill my time with some furry friends! I do have 1 cat in the house who is dog savvy, he has socialized many friends dogs to cats! I don’t take dogs that have a super high prey drive just to respect my cats space but other then that he’s pretty indifferent to dogs or will occasionally play. I try and stay 1 on 1 with the animals i watch so i am happy to watch a pet in my house, or at yours. I live right by the water, so i have taken some friends and clients dogs(and my cat =p ) on canoe rides if they enjoy them. My house is located 1 minute away from an amazing trail that goes between Chelsea and Wakefield where we can do longer walks, as well as being super close to lots of amazing hikes! There is water access on our property as well, so if your pooch loves to swim that's definitely an option. I have an in house grooming room that accommodates most dogs(the tub is raised so sometimes extra large dogs with bad hips/arthritis might not be able to get in) so if you wanted to add a grooming service on feel free to enquire! Aside from dogs i have quite a bit of experience with fish, reptiles, rodents and some exotic pets. I worked in a very popular saltwater fish store in Vancouver, specializing in beautiful corals. I currently have 2 freshwater fish tanks at home, as well as a leopard gecko. I have watched some exotic pets, such as sugar gliders, but would love to take on caring fr more kinds!
