Personal Profile: Hey my name is Andrea. I'm aiming experience in hoping achieving my goal in the veterinary world, if not gaining better understanding of animals so that I may apply for other animal-care related jobs ( such as pet product industries, e.g., Petco or Petsmart, even shelters ) Service Abilities: I am comfortable doing maintaining pet health ( with appropriate instructions ), facilitating exercise ( such as walking ), overnight stays and grooming. As in regards to the animals I have experienced in my time, I have: - Lived and cared for cats for at least 18 years. - I have cared for rabbits for at least 12 years. -I currently volunteer ( which in a way can be subjected to the terms of work ) at a shelter to where I take the dogs out to play and observe them for any plausible medical conditions they may exhibit in the process, I have been in attendance there for at least 3 or 4 months, and while I have occasionally babysat children -- I have also been asked to care for the animals they have of their disposal, I'm more at home watching over the animals. One was watching dog who happened to have a condition rendering her blind ( and was asked to feed her accordingly to their instructions in case you have a dog that is known to wolf down food ), another had 4 dogs and several cats. - I am currently in the midst of college working the ladder to animal behavior, animal medical care, and general animal care ( basically; aspiring for veterinary technician goals. ) - Working at a doggy daycare, I look out for behaviour & health. I have assisted in giving dogs medication orally, and even helped with restraint. I also have groomed guests as requested if you have a dog who is longed hair ( like a King Charles Spaniel ) or other long-coated dogs that require frequent or a regular schedule of grooming.
