At Golden Days Pet Services, our mission is to ensure that all of the dogs we care for, whether it be for pet sitting visits to your home, private dog walks or a stay in my personal residence, feel as though they are home and we are just an extension of their family. Equally important is that all of our human clients be treated as friends and that they feel comfortable and at ease with the personal attention and care provided to their companions. As your companions host, we give them the same special attention that we give to our own dogs and pets - actually probably a bit better. They are our guests after all, and guests are special! As our distinguished guest, your companion will benefit from constant human and canine companionship. We are here 24-hours a day 7-days-a-week. This is our purpose, passion, and focus. At Golden Days Pet Services your companion receives all of the love and attention one would expect from extended family. Our extensive experience in animal care including providing extra special attention for special dietary, hygiene, and medical needs, set us apart from your average pet sitter or animal care service provider. Our distinguished doggy guests enjoy a minimum of two walks per day, provided opportunities to exercise, play and romp (Bella our hostess and resident Golden Retriever, loves to play), and of course plenty of loving attention and doggy pampering. There are no kids here, except for Bella your dog's hostess, so she along with our special furry guests receive all the love and attention. For those choosing our semi-private boarding option, our home has hardwood floors throughout making it easy to maintain a clean and healthy vacation environment. Elevated pet cots, and luxury doggy bedding, including blankets, memory foam beds, and orthopedic dog beds are provided for your dog's comfort and enjoyment. Interior areas are cleaned and sanitized daily. Throughout the day the interior and exterior areas are disinfected with a high-end veterinary hospital cleaner which is a proven bactericide and fungicide, kills 23 bacteria, including Mycoplasma, Strep, Staph, E. coli, Salmonella and more. It also kills 8 viruses including canine parvovirus, parainfluenza-3, and Pseudorabies. Beautiful and abundant walking trails and parks near your dog's vacation resort provide varied and abundant opportunities for your dog to have fun, explore and discover stimulating places with many new things to sniff and smell!!. You can enhance your vacationing pooch's stay with an optional hike or nature stroll to one of the many nearby nature trails and nature reserves in the area. More stuff to smell!! Back at your dogs home away from home there are antlers, stuffed toys with “ChewGaurd” technology, Nylabones and a variety of fun toys to satisfy almost any dogs chewing tastes and desires. Aromatherapy and soft music are used to help bring your dog to a calm and peaceful state of mind. We are also proud to offer DogTV -- a television station designed exclusively for dogs! DogTV provides television for dogs as a 24/7 digital TV channel with dog-friendly programing scientifically developed to provide the right company for dogs. Through years of research with some of the world's top pet experts, special content was created for DogTV to meet specific attributes of a dog's sense of vision and hearing and supports their natural behavior patterns. The result: a confident, happy dog, who's less likely to develop stress, separation anxiety or other related problems. What's a vacation without pictures? Our doggy guests are the center of attention, so complimentary digital pictures of your furry friend's vacation adventures are included with overnight stays. Hosted Kennel Free Pack Boarding ___________________________________ Rates start at $44 per night Puppies 12 months old or less are an additional $10 per night. Have a puppy 12 months old or less? We love puppy’s but as we all know puppies require a lot more time and attention and clean up than adult dogs so that’s why we charge an extra $10 per night. Intact Males and Females 8 months and older are an additional $10 per night. A female in heat tends to stress out the boys, so she will stay in her own little princes' area, and not interact with the other dogs. A little extra cleanup is a must, so an extra $35 will be added to the per night rate. Males 9 months and older not neutered -- i.e., intact males. These boys have a lot of extra mojos, so they will have a little extra special time. They could be placed on a different schedule than our regular guests and could have minimal to no interaction with the host dog or any other guest dogs depending on their temperament and behavior. Marking is part of what the boys like to do so extra clean up is usually necessary. These are some of the reasons an additional $10 per night is charged. Please note, although uncommon, in some cases additional nightly charge may go as high as $25 per night depending on the behavior of the dog once boarded. i.e. excessive marking, destructive, requires an inordinate amount of attention in order to avoid conflicts with other guests, etc. Medications: Oral and Topical Medications: $2 per dose per medication Injectable Medications: $4.00 per dose per medication Unlimited Medication Administration $15 per day Check-in times are between 8 AM to 8 PM Standard check-out time is between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Late check-outs after 12:00 noon but before 4:00 PM are charged the for a half-day of doggy day camp, the current rate is $23. Late heck-outs between 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM are charged for a full day of doggy day camp rate, the current rate is $34. Doggy day camp is a cage-free service designed for social dogs to play and have fun. Day camp provides an outlet for excess energy, exercise, and socialization. Trained staff monitors safe play and each dog must complete a doggy day camp evaluation before being accepted into camp. Golden Days Pet Services offers large and small doggy day camps. Safety is our primary goal, therefore doggy day camp is not for every dog. It is not a place for aggressive dogs to learn how to be social. Doggy day camp is limited in size, and clients are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointment. Priority goes to clients with standing reservations and pre-purchased doggy day camp bundles and packages. To be accepted into our doggy day camp program, each potential doggy day camp guest must do the following: * Complete the guest profile and evaluation check-in * Be at least 12 weeks of age and have completed their full series of vaccinations, including Bordetella vaccine * Meet our vaccination and temperament standards A note on check-ins and check-outs for overnight and camp guests: To comply with community association guidelines, for security reasons and as a courtesy to our neighbors, we cannot schedule check-ins or check-outs outside of our normal hours of operation (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.). There can be absolutely no exceptions made. Doggy guests not checked out by close of business will be considered overnight guest, and an additional night will be added to your account. Seasonal Rate Adjustments Like most service or hotel businesses during certain times of the year, demand is higher and accordingly, our prices are adjusted seasonally. Seasonal adjustment range from $5 to $10 per night depending on the time of year. This premium is added to the standard rates. Pet Sitting Home Visits ----------------------------------------------------- Pet sitting home visits of 30 minutes are $22 to $27 per visit depending on the number of visits booked. Each additional pet is $4.00 each per visit. For dogs, we recommend an absolute minimum of two visits per day. If you will be out of town for more than 1 day, three visits are the recommended minimum. Your pet sitting service includes the usual. At your designated time, we will discretely enter your home (our cars do not display any signage that may otherwise alert your neighbors of your absence) and spend a quality 25 to 35 minutes engaging your pet in playtime, yummy feedings, giving them fresh clean water, briskly paced walks and lots of love and attention. Upon request, we will then also water your plants and collect the mail and newspaper, change lighting and curtains for your home to appear lived-in. The typical length of these visits is 25- 30 minutes. Longer visits of 45 or 60 minutes can be arranged for an additional charge. We also offer a 10 min relief break or good night tucking services for $19. These can be booked in addition to at least one standard 30, 45 or 60-minute visit per day. We’re also happy to design and customize a package to yours and your pets' specific needs. Bedtime tuck-in is charged $19. We will let your pooch out for a quick potty break, play with them, give them a hug and a kiss goodnight and make sure that they are safe, happy and comfy for the night. Mid-day potty stop is charged $19. This is a quick 10- to 15-minute lunch-time let-out for your pooch. It does not include feeding. This service is especially beneficial for puppies and senior pets, who need more frequent let-outs. Key drop-off/return is charged $15 per trip. We strongly advise you to keep a key lock box at your home. They are fairly inexpensive and can be found at most hardware stores. However, should you prefer to have your key picked up or returned to you after our services, there is a $15 charge for us to make the additional trip.
