Hi there! I have lifelong experience taking care of and loving animals. From caring for the animal companions of my friends and family, to taking care of my own dogs (I currently don't have one, though), I pride myself on being very intuitive to animals' needs and very generous with tummy rubs! I am also more than happy to send you text or email updates about how your dog is doing/did during my time with him/her. I see your animal as a living, breathing, loving creature, not a thing that needs to be dealt with. As for my background, I work full-time in the video department at an animal rights organization and love to play cello, hike, and paint! My recommendations can be found here: https://....com/ Prior to working with you and your animal companion(s), I would love to know about any behavioral issues (excessive barking and separation anxiety, in particular, so I can brace myself for proper soothing techniques), medical issues & disabilities, and dietary restrictions/needs. I have plenty of experience with animals who are fed a vegan diet, so that is something that isn't foreign to me! If your dog has any beloved toys, activities, and/or music, let me know! I don't have breed preferences-- mutts are perfectly awesome. What you can expect from hiring me is that I'll make sure that your companion is getting a healthy, fun, and stimulating amount of physical activity, along with regular bathroom breaks. Same goes with cats-- I have experience with taking cats on walks, and love playtime. On the other end of the spectrum, I know when enough activity is enough, and it's time for quiet, naps, and/or cuddles (or being left alone, in the case of some animal personalities!).
