Application: Hi there my name is Mrs. Dowdell. I'm interviewing for a pet sitter & House sitter/daily checks position in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I prefer to care for dogs in my own home, and am willing to go to your home daily to feed and tend to birds or cats and check for mail and do a quick walk through your home to be sure it’s ok etc. I do not stay overnight at any homes. I am a semi retired lady with grown children and a husband who still works full time. Price to do Basic pet care in your home starts at $12/hr. Fees negotiable depending on services required. Available over the holidays. I have done pet sitting and home care as a hobby and gift to my friends up until now. Fair prices. Negotiable within reason. Available immediately. I would require full instructions of care and services you want written out for me to follow every day…Just to ensure we both agree to what is needing doing daily, and so I can maintain daily pet routines to ease their stress. Contact numbers for you, and dates I am needed to provide services also need to be written out on the same paper for me to refer to. I am an organized person, former commercial cleaner, former EMT, former business owner, and more! Currently we only have 2 cats left. All our other pets have passed away in the last few years. Closed in back yard if dog comes to us. My Wage/Payment needs to be at regular intervals if over one week (required) , and wages and hours expected to work daily must be written on the list of duties in clear words and dated & signed. So no confusion or upset due to a misunderstanding. One piece of photo id is required and the id numbers to be recorded are done in compliance to the privacy act of Canada. Sincerely Mrs Dowdell Services And Training: I am comfortable doing animal feeding, litter type cleaning within reason, and overnight boarding of dogs at my home, light plant watering, getting mail, walk through house & the yard, washing basic animal dishes and cleaning up occasional accidents. No bladder /bowel challenged pets or diapered pets. No serious mobility issues that would require lifting your dog accepted. No destructive chewing or marking, or violent pets. No muzzle required animals. No animals intolerant to children of various ages. No dogs not socialized with cats allowed to board. Any injuries from a dog on my animals that are severe or requiring vet care, will be paid in full at the time of any vet care given (directly to the vet) by dog owner. I do have personal transportation available to get to and from homes within Saskatoon. With respect to my history, I have references as to what kind of a person I am if requested. I have done a multitude of jobs, and have had animals all my life. (Dogs, cats, birds, chickens, Guinea Fowl, turtles, fish, yabbies, hermit crabs, Guinea pigs, rats, geckos, to name a few.) Also, my cats are currently 14 years old. Our 3 dogs passed away of old age over the past 7 years. They were all 13 years old. I have a loving home for animals & enjoy caring for pets at homes of others too. I don’t have a posh home, but we are an easy going & clean one.
