Hi there! I'm Amber - a dog enthusiast and animal lover. I know how difficult it can be to not only find someone to look after your pets when you're away, but to find someone you can trust to love them as much as you do. I have been a 5-star dog walker and sitter with another company for 3 years! I have cared for hundreds of dogs of all breeds and ages. I found my own furry best friend (Rico) about 9 years ago wondering off a mountain path, and we have been an unstoppable duo ever since. I've never known a home without a dog as I grew up with multiple dog breeds amongst family and friends (Rottweiler, Labrador, German Shepard, Pomeranian, Australian Shepard, Chihuahua). Over the years I have been introduced to a variety of dog breeds volunteering with the Los Angeles Animal Shelter and working with another popular dog service company in San Diego & Los Angeles. My schedule is fairly flexible right now as I am preparing to apply to medical school and studying for my entrance exam. I promise to care for your pets and home as if they were my own. I will go above and beyond to make sure your furbabies are comfortable and loved while you are away! I think it’s really important to keep an open line of communication for your well-being and mine. SERVICES: In-Home Dog Sitting & Dog Walks/Runs For dog sitting, I prefer to update owners with a morning text/photo and an end-of-the-day report with pictures, videos, and any other fun stories. I can stay at your home as little or as much as you're comfortable with throughout the day/night. Please feel free to contact me as well. For dog walks/runs, I prefer to update owners with an "On My Way" text and an end-of-walk report with pictures and/or videos. You can schedule by time (i.e. 30/60 minutes) or distance (i.e. 1-2 miles). I am available for recurring or short-notice scheduling! However, pricing will increase for longer walks/runs and additional dogs. I request owners leave the following information regarding their pet's health and routine: dietary restrictions, feeding routine, exercise habits, sleeping arrangements, triggers, personality quirks, etc. If your dog loves a morning run or a trip to the dog park, I'll make it happen. If you have any tricks/etiquette you’re working on with your pup, please let me know, I'd be happy to help with training! If your dog requires special needs/care instructions (i.e. medications), I will ensure they are well taken care of. I have experience with ill, injured, and senior dogs.
