Pet Sitter in Mexico, Missouri

If you need pet care very suddenly, I'm your person. I have experience in caring for cats, dogs, birds, small animals, bearded dragons, and, of course, fish. Can easily board animals here on our farm, granted they're friendly with dogs and cats. Failing that, I can easily come to your home and walk, feed, water, give treats to, and/or give medicine to your pet and clean up after them. I've taken care of and owned a variety of animals, with decades of experience, and genuinely love animals (more than I even like human beings). I know what it's like to have a family emergency or sudden travel plans and not have someone who is available to care for our pets and how much stress that adds to the situation. Have also volunteered at animal shelters and have a vet tech who lives here with me. (Would like to work on going to school to become a vet tech, myself.) Willing to work with blind/deaf animals, as well. Just let me know what your pet is like, what your pet enjoys, what you expect, what you need and when, and I'll accommodate. If you would like your pet groomed, I'd definitely suggest taking them to a groomer, but for medium to small sized animals, I will try my best to give them a bath, get mats out if there aren't many, and I can attempt to clip your cat's front claws possibly dog's claws. (This all depends on how chill your pet is with the process. If you solely need someone to come to your house and do an emergency cat bathing, or help you flea bath your cat or small dog, I will make the attempt. I would rather not die in the process, but a couple scratches won't me. I'd make this offer for bigger dogs, but I'm only 125lbs, and bigger dogs will probably just laugh at me if I make the attempt.) If your pet is sick and/or generally in hospice condition, I will do my best to get them cleaned if you'd like. We recently had a pet ginger tabby who was too sick to move from one spot and ended up urinating on herself and the floor. We had to keep her on a doggy pad, and I had to keep vigil with her to make sure her fur was clean despite being unable to move for the litter box so she wouldn't get sores, or get sicker than she already was. For that we used pet cleaning wipes and bathing foam and towels so she wasn't being soaked to the bones several times daily with full-out baths. Stuff happens, it gets hard, I totally understand. I'm not squeamish about urine or feces and do my best to keep everyone clean and well. And with that said, I'll also add that I'm not squeamish about bugs, either. If you have a lizard that needs fed live bugs, I'm totally okay with that. I'm used to handling crickets, mealworms, superworms, and dehydrated insects. I'm sure waxworms and roaches won't be a problem, either. If you just need someone to show up to clean litter boxes, I'm there. If you need someone to walk your dog or clean the dog poo out of your yard, I'm there. If you have work when your pet needs a dose of medicine, call me. If you have sick pets that need close observation but something important comes up, let me know. We can work something out so you don't have to worry. Unfortunately, I do not have experience with livestock or horses. I'd love to gain some, but until I do, I can't confidently horse sit or anything like that. I also have some experience with dog training and I have some insight on most cat behavior as I've rehabbed a few violent, feral cats and also own a dog. (Actually, we own a lot of animals.)
