Pet Sitter in Portland, Maine

I have been a pet sitter for about ten years and have had pets of my own for 15. I love animals of all kinds. I am not able to keep additional animals in my home but am happy to house sit at the owner’s house. I’m very active so long walks are something I can easily accommodate. I also have experience dealing with behavioral issues including guarding and separation anxiety. I have nursed animals with illnesses such as cancer, kidney failure, and diabetes. With that being said, I am familiar with medical needs including IVs, pill administration, insulin injections, ointments, etc. I love animals of all ages but admittedly have a soft spot for older animals. I don't mind traveling a bit to house sit but for dog walking and drop-ins, I prefer to stay in the central Maine area. I do work full time in the Lewiston area, so house sitting during the week can be difficult for dogs that cannot be alone for more than 8 hours, so weekends are better for overnight stays. I am very flexible. My rates are negotiable when it comes to things like extended stays, multiple pets, etc. Rover requires set rates for many scenarios and this can confuse and mislead those that are new to the app. Please consider me!
