Hello! My name is Macarena, I’m 30 years old and originally from Chile. I recently moved to Washington, DC with my husband, who was relocated here for work. I’m excited to offer my support as a petsitter and babysitter during this new chapter of our lives. Spanish is my native language, and I’m currently working on improving my basic English skills. I am a physiotherapist by profession, specializing in pregnancy and postpartum care. I have experience caring for pets as well—I look after my own Golden Retriever, Molly, and my cat, Nilo, back in Chile, so I understand the responsibility and affection that pets need. I offer dog walking services, but please note I only walk dogs that are well-behaved on a leash, as I have a slender build and want to ensure safety for both myself and your pet. I can also visit your pets while you are traveling to entertain them, play with them at your home, provide fresh water and food, brush them, and clean up after them. I also have two wonderful nephews, ages 2 and 4, whom I have cared for many times. These experiences have deepened my passion for looking after little ones. I truly enjoy spending time with children and engaging in fun activities such as dancing, listening to music, drawing, exercising, playing with playdough, reading, cooking, and more! I can assist with safely moving children when needed and feeding infants with bottle milk. I am warm, responsible, and nurturing, and I’m passionate about creating safe, positive environments where children and pets feel happy, secure, and cared for. I am fully available to work all or some weekdays on fixed and flexible schedules, and I also offer nighttime care, including watching over children while they sleep (subject to confirmation).
