I have owned many pets in my lifetime and I currently work with dogs all day at a boarding facility. I am familiar with safe practices around dogs. I am also familiar with signs of stress for dogs and what requires a visit to the vet. I will keep track of eating and eliminating to make sure that your pet is doing alright. I absolutely love dogs - I have my own miniature Australian Shepherd. I want to take care of your dogs! I would also be willing to care for small animals, like bunnies, guinea pigs, mice, rats, hamsters and ferrets. For dogs, if they are dog aggressive I can arrange taking care of them at your place so that they are not around my dog, if they are ok with other dogs I would let them get familiar with their surroundings first and bring my dog to my house after a few hours so that they feel more comfortable with their surroundings. If the dogs do not get along for some reason, I would send my dog to a family members house. Prices will depend on how many services you require, like giving a dog medication or if you would like your dog to get some extra training. I can also do tooth brushing (you provide the paste and brush), baths (you provide the shampoo), nail trims and brushing for a little bit extra money as long as I wont get bit by your pet. I have been trained for nail trims and baths. To avoid ear infections, I will not be washing the head, but I will remove eye residue. I do require proof of vaccinations, especially if your dog is going to be around my dog. If your pet is sick with something contagious I will not provide care for them. I will get you to sign a contract stating that if I need to bring your pet to the vet and you are unable to pick them up or you do not answer your phone that I can do so and you will cover the cost of the vet bills. I will require emergency contact numbers so that I can try and get one of your family members or friends to bring your pet to the vet. I am also willing to arrange dog walks for owners who have very busy schedules. Prices will depend on the behaviour of your dog(s) during walks. Please contact me with any inquiries.
