Hello, My name is Evelyn Puga and I am a thirteen year old girl looking for a job as a dog sitter. The reason I am looking for a job in the first place, is for my own responsibility. As a young adult, I am moving into a stage where I am learning about life and how hard it is to make a living in todays generation. I feel that getting a job now will benefit me in getting higher position in a future's job. This job will help me mature and grow into a responsible, young adult. Description about myself: I am a very intelligent girl; I've been in honor roll since I attended 1st grade in 2008 and I don't plan to ever lose that position. Besides intelligent, I am also adventurous, responsible, and athletic. I love adventures. Since I was a child, my father would take me on a ride on ATV through the ranch. There were many hills, mud piles, and stones that we would ride over using the motorcycles. Ever since then, I love the adrenaline the ATV's bring to me, but it's not just ATVs, it's also rollercoasters and speed. When it comes to responsibility, I've been gaining it since I was 4 years of age. At the age of four, my mother would make me do the smallest chores of all. I used to hate it, but overtime it helped me pick up after myself, making me more organized, clean, and of course, responsible. As an athletic person, I love most sports. In school, I was in the girls basketball team, the girls soccer team, and I would play a variety of different sports every day. All of my characteristics will help me become a dog sitter because dogs love adventure, one must be responsible to care and/or have a dog, and one must be athletic to keep up with the dog. My experience with dogs is great. I got my first dog when I was eight years old. Unfortunately she passed away due to the condition I found her in. She was a 7 month puppy, who was wandering the dirty, dangerous streets. When we found her, we fed her, bathed her, and took her in. We did take her to the vet, but they said everything seemed fine, but that was her physical appearance, not her inner one. She died within 2 months due to organ issues. When she passed, she left behind a spark that made me want to become a veterinarian. The pain her death put me through is a pain I wouldn't want another child going through. It really hurts to lose a pet, but more than a pet, she was part of my family. I made my decision to help stray dogs become part of someone's family.
