I just started collecting Social Security (62). I have an older, very friendly dog who I am completely responsible for (he is 17, fixed, and super short hair, in excellent health - great with dogs, cats, most other animals including kids and grownups - he's a Pharaoh Hound mixed with something, but all Pharaoh Hound in demeanor and behavior). I'm great with animals, and pretty good with people too. I can fix and maintain pretty much anything in and around a property, from autos to electrical to carpentry to computers ( my profession for more than 40 years is in the computer industry, both hardware and software). I am not a Felix Unger (obsessive clean type from The Odd Couple TV show), but always keep wherever I am in the same or better condition than how I found it. I have always been great with plants, and had over 200 indoor houseplants at one of my past houses, which I cared for completely myself. I have always been more in tune with animals than people, as long as I can remember. Always had some injured wild animal I found on my way home from school, which I nursed back to be able to released back to the wild. I raised guinea pigs as a teenager, and have had dogs all my life. I had a cockatiel and an Amazon Lilac Crowned Parrot for a number of years. I also had a Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pig from (before) weaning age (I didn't discover this until after I got him), until he died recently at almost 22 years old. I have lived with cats on and off as well (you don't really have them - they have you). I am in great shape and am capable of serious physical labor when required on occasion. I am very interested in organic and natural diet as well as "Alternative Health and Wellness", which I try to extend my knowledge and views of diet and health to animals in my care also. I am fairly easy t work with, and am as reliable and trustworthy as can be found. Naturally I can provide many references for most every skill I have described, and need you may have! Most everything is negotiable, so can usually accommodate your every need!
