About Me: Hi there my name is Erin. I am looking for petsitter placements in Georgetown, Ontario. Consistently, I work to be a dedicated, polite candidate who is both respectful to your space and also loving to your animals! I will work part or full-time as required. I have been caring for animals my whole entire life! I was fortunate to grow up in the country and have lots of wildlife at my finger tips! I had dogs and cats growing up that I helped raise and take care of, as well as other 'pets' I cared for that made me a frequent visitor to my vet to get medication and formula for baby rabbits and chipmunks I found in abandoned nests I would find! While camping when I was 10 I found a baby snapping turtle with a cracked shell in the road and I brought it to the vet and made a habitat for it to help it grow and heal and then released it back at the campground when it was bigger and healed. When I was 8 I found a monarch butterfly on the road with a broken wing and I carried it the whole way back home and made it a portable habitat and learned how to make it liquid sugar and give it flowers and took it with me to school every day for MONTHS. That summer I took it to the wildlife center at my campground and they couldn't believe I still had a monarch butterfly from the past September! More recently I have been caring for the kittens and chickens (baby chicks and also hens in a coop) of various friend's while they have been away travelling! I hope those stories give a little insight into my care and love for all creatures! Description of Skills: I can take care of any animal and give it the love and attention it needs! I can also care for sick animals and am able to administer medication and cater to any specific needs. Further, I am willing to travel and also do house-sitting tasks if that is needed as well!
