Hi, I'm Chantel, a pet sitter in Edmonton, Alberta. As a pet lover, I specialize in all types of animals such as birds, cats, dogs, fish, and even lizards/reptiles. I provide a wide variety of services including dog walking, overnight care, pet grooming, and pet sitting. I have three years of an animal bioscience degree and then transferred to an integrative biology degree (I completed my third year). I was born and raised on a farm with all the animals I could dream of having! I then worked in a vet clinic for a few years and a pet boarding resort prior to working at Marine Life WEM doing animal care there! I do have some experience with fear-reactive dogs as my dog is fear reactive so I have taken my own dog to a certified fear-free and positive reinforcement-based behaviouralist on a few occasions! I have also practiced balanced training in the past (not all pets learn/need the same support just like us)! I understand that all pets are unique and require different levels of attention. I will ensure that your pet is safe and well taken care of! I can even send daily photos/videos if you request them. I can also write down bowel movements and types, frequency, behaviour that day, etc. I am very comfortable giving medications orally and injections to pets if needed as well as dressing wounds, etc. Whether you are looking for someone to walk your dog, groom your pet, or provide overnight care, I can provide the services you need. My rate varies depending on what the pet needs (walk, cuddles, or medications) and the distance I would have to drive to in order to spend time with your pet. My rates vary from $20 per hour to $30 for overnight stays which are $45 (in your own home to make it more stress-free for your pets)! I guarantee you that your pet will be in good hands with me.
