Growing up in Scotland, I had all kinds of pets - birds, lizards, dogs, cats, bunnies, you name it, I probably grew up with them. I also have my own dogs now, that I’ve taken sole care of for 6 years, and am no stranger to big dogs with lots of energy. I work on leash reactivity with one of my current dogs and will be confident following your instructions to keep your dogs safe on walks, whether it be crossing the street, taking alternate routes, etc. I am a full time early childhood education student and carry over the warmth I bring to my childcare into my pet care. I am happy to care for your pet as if they were one of my own. I have cared for a diabetic cat in the past for a few years and my dogs get frequent hot spots and ear infections. With your specific instructions, I am comfortable giving injections, oral medication and topical treatments, should your pet require them.I currently cannot offer boarding services due to my living arrangements, but am happy to offer over night stays in your home during your much needed time away. Your pets will be in safe, loving hands.I am available every day for drop in visits and/or dog walking in the morning and evenings.I do have placement and classes during the day most days and so lunch time visits and over night stays will be based on an individual basis. However, I will try my best to figure out a schedule that best suits your needs.I am comfortable walking reactive dogs who like pulling on the leash. My golden retriever gets a little reactive on walks and so we work on trying to avoid other dogs or triggers by changing directions on walks, working with her signals so I can prevent any altercations, and I feel confident that I will be able to take good care of your leash reactive dog too. I also have experience crate training, proving topical and oral medications, working on training at every opportunity and working with each dogs individual personality with a “no one size fits all” mentality.About My ServicesI offer: House Sitting: $50 per night. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100 lbs). Drop-In Visits: $20 per visit. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100 lbs). Dog Walking: $20 per walk.
